I know that there is a big trend of simple, 'just do one thing', apps ... but I'm also feeling a big trend from clients that is 'everything' apps. And I want to be careful with what I mean by an everything app. Clients are NOT wanting an app that handles finances, social, meal-planning, and TV schedules all-in-one (unless their out here in SE Asia/China/Japan) ... but they want an entire category to be handled by one app.

For example, with the sports/fitness app I'm working on ( extrarep.com ), there is a big hunger for "all sport and fitness related stuff in one spot". Another potential client wants "full ad management, across all social platforms AND ad-platforms like Google Ads". Another discussion I've had with a potential client (that did not pan out) was an "everything financial" app.

Essentially ... I feel like users definitely want different categories of apps ... but they want just one app per category.

Anyone else finding similar things?
