Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AtSynct.com at https://atsynct.com and related applications (the "Service"), operated by AeonVox LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or clicking to accept, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

If you are 18 or older, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract. You may not use the Service if you are barred under applicable law or were previously suspended or removed.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with laws in your location.

Accounts and authentication

Account creation requires sign-in with Google or GitHub. You must maintain the security of your sign-in account and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your Synct account.

You agree that registration information is accurate and that you will keep your profile information current. Impersonation, misleading usernames, or duplicate accounts created to evade restrictions are prohibited.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the community.

Signup verification (Stripe)

To reduce spam and bad-faith signups, we require a valid payment card authorization during onboarding (currently a USD $1.00 hold via Stripe). This is an authorization to verify the card; we do not charge a membership fee for this step and the hold is released after verification according to Stripe and card-issuer rules.

Payment processing is provided by Stripe. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy. We do not store your full card number on our servers.

If you do not complete verification, certain member features may remain unavailable.

Communities, tiers, and features

AtSynct.com provides official communities, feeds (including Parlor and Library), profiles, rooms, notifications, and a tier system based on participation and quality signals.

Features may change, be labeled beta, or be limited during early access. Tier progression, rooms, chat, and other capabilities may be adjusted or gated as described in the product.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features with or without notice where reasonable. Material changes to paid features, if introduced later, will be communicated in line with applicable law.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt your content solely to operate, promote, and improve the Service (including showing it to other users as you direct through visibility settings).

You represent that you have the rights to post your content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or community standards, or that we reasonably believe harms the Service or other users.

Community standards

AtSynct.com is built for substantive discussion among builders and creators. You agree to participate in good faith.

• Do not post low-effort, AI-generated, or misleading content presented as original work ("slop").
• Do not post plagiarized or uncredited work ("stolen").
• Do not use the Service primarily for unsolicited promotion or advertising ("ad").
• Respect other members; no harassment, hate speech, threats, or doxxing.
• Do not upload malware, attempt to scrape or overload the Service, or circumvent access controls.

Acceptable use

You will not use the Service to violate law, infringe intellectual property, endanger minors, distribute spam, or interfere with others' use. Automated access (bots) is not permitted except with our prior written consent.

We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required.

Our intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights to use the Service, no rights are granted to you.

Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties such as Google and GitHub (authentication), Stripe (payments), and hosting providers. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting us at the email below.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violation of these Terms, risk to others, or legal requirement. Provisions that by nature should survive (disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, governing law) will survive termination.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, accuracy of user content, or outcomes from community participation or tier status.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at the email below and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.

Except where prohibited by law, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you may also have rights to bring claims in your country of residence.

Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the 'Last updated' date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
